The main points

  • You can cancel or rearrange a free consultation.
  • For paid work, contact us with your name and order details. What you owe depends on the work done, the costs agreed and any legal right to cancel.
  • Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals when cancellation takes effect. The full terms explain timing and any consumer cooling-off rights.

This short guide helps you find your way around. Read the full terms below for the details that apply.

These terms distinguish voluntary cancellation from statutory consumer cooling-off rights. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority.

1. Free consultations

A free consultation may be cancelled or rearranged at any time. Cerebro asks for reasonable notice where a meeting has been scheduled.

2. Consumer 14-day cooling-off period

If you are a consumer entering a distance contract for services, you will generally have 14 days from the day after the contract is entered into to cancel without giving a reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

If you ask Cerebro to begin a service during the cooling-off period, Cerebro will request an express instruction. If you later cancel during that period, you may be charged a proportionate amount for work supplied up to cancellation. If the service is fully performed during the period after your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may be lost.

3. Digital content supplied immediately

Where a digital download, template, software item or other digital content is supplied immediately, checkout will ask a consumer to expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that the 14-day cancellation right will be lost once supply begins. If that consent and acknowledgement are not obtained, the statutory right may continue.

4. One-off projects after the cooling-off period

A customer may ask to cancel a one-off project in writing. The customer must pay for work properly completed up to the cancellation date and non-cancellable third-party commitments that were clearly authorised. Any unearned balance will be returned in accordance with the Refund Policy.

Cerebro will provide a reasonable summary of completed work and, where payment covers it, hand over usable work-in-progress that can reasonably be separated from Cerebro’s reusable internal materials.

5. Subscription cancellation

  • Managed subscriptions are monthly rolling with no minimum term unless a different term is clearly agreed in writing for a specific order, and may be cancelled before the next renewal date.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals. The managed service normally continues until the end of the paid billing period unless the customer requests immediate termination or a security issue requires it.
  • Customers can cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing Info@cerebro-consulting.com. Cerebro will not require a more difficult cancellation route than the sign-up route where the law requires equivalent ease.
  • When applicable law requires renewal reminders, end-of-contract notices or renewal cooling-off notices, Cerebro will provide them.

6. Cancellation by Cerebro

Cerebro may cancel before work begins if the project is unsuitable, unlawful, unsafe or outside capacity, in which case payments for unprovided work will be refunded.

After work begins, Cerebro may suspend or terminate for serious breach, unlawful use, material security risk, abusive conduct or non-payment after reasonable notice. Any refund or balance due will be calculated fairly according to work supplied, loss caused and mandatory rights.

7. Effect of cancellation

  • Future recurring charges stop after cancellation takes effect.
  • Access to Cerebro-operated systems may end when the paid period ends.
  • Customer-owned accounts and assets remain with the customer, subject to unpaid lawful charges and third-party provider terms.
  • Each party must return or securely delete confidential information where required, subject to legal retention duties and backups.
  • Clauses intended to survive termination, including confidentiality, ownership, liability and payment for supplied work, continue.

8. How to cancel

Send a clear statement that you wish to cancel to Info@cerebro-consulting.com. You may also contact Cerebro on 07501746327. Include your name, email, order reference, service and whether you want cancellation at the end of the paid period or immediately.

You do not have to use the model form below, but it can help.
